Terms of use for Master Blaster

Last updated 15 October 2026. Master Blaster is a service of MediaAtlas. The general MediaAtlas Terms of Service apply to it; the points below add what is specific to mastering. If the two differ, the points below win for this service.

Your music

• You keep all rights to what you upload and to what comes back. We claim none.
• Upload only what you made or have the right to process. You are responsible for that.
• We do not train any model on your music and do not listen to it. What we keep, and for how long, is on the privacy page: previews and results are deleted after one hour.

The result

• Your master gets a credit line ("Mastered with Master Blaster ...") and a signed proof of mastering in its tags, and an entry in our register of fingerprints (see the privacy page). The proof lets anyone check on the verify page that we made this master and when. Please leave the credit in a free demo; a customer with an API key may leave the credit line out, the proof stays.
• The master is made by a machine learning model and checked by measurements. It can sound worse than your original. Always listen to the A/B before you use it, and keep your original.
• The free demo is a short excerpt of your track. It is meant for trying the service and may change or stop at any time.
• Results are available for one hour. Download what you want to keep.
• The service is provided as it is, without a promise of availability or of a particular result. Our liability is limited as in the general terms.

Fair use

• Limits apply (a few demos per hour, one track in the queue at a time, a maximum file size and length). Do not try to get around them, overload the service or send files that are not audio.
• We may refuse or stop a job, or block an address, if the service is misused.

API keys

• An API key is for the person or program it was given to. Do not share it or publish it; give every agent or program its own key. You are responsible for what is done with it.
• Each key has limits (requests per minute, minutes of audio per day and month, the longest track, tracks at once). We may change or revoke a key if it is misused or the limits are exceeded on purpose.
• Everything above about your music, the result and fair use applies to jobs made through the API.

Payments

The service is free for now. When paid masters start, the price, the right to withdraw and the period for which paid masters stay available will be written here before you pay.
